We are beyond proud to announce that Beaver Yehor is one of the Chief Scout’s unsung hero awards! Here he is at Gilwell Park, home of The Scouts
Since arriving at the Group, Yehor has been a shining example of the Scout Values overcoming more than most young people would ever have to.

Today, at noon, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who fought and suffered in World War II. Their sacrifices secured the peace and freedom we enjoy today. We must never forget their courage and resilience, and we must transmit their stories and memories to future generations, ensuring that the lessons of war are never forgotten.
This VE Day, let us reflect on the hard-won peace, celebrate the sacrifices of those who served, and commit to working towards a future of lasting peace and understanding. We will remember the sacrifices of the Allied forces and celebrate the victory that brought an end to the war in Europe.
We also reflect on the role Scouts played in the War, both on the Home Front and abroad and remember their bravery, courage and determination.

We’ve had a fantastic few nights at Beavers and Scouts so we are going to combine the post!
The Beavers took part in tomahawks, archery and firelighting.
Whilst the Scouts undertook a scavenger hunt planned and delivered by Scout Ollie as part of his youth shaped badge
