Trustee Parent Voice Open

Parent Representatives for the Board of Trustees

Represent the views of parents and carers on the Board of Trustees, helping strengthen communication, community connection, and support for the future of Team6th.

Role type: Adults only
Commitment: Approx. 1–2 meetings per term, plus occasional input
Location: Gosport
Suitable for: Parents or carers of current young people who want to support and represent the wider parent voice
Community Fundraising Open

Fundraising Team Members

Help raise funds to support the work of Team6th by assisting with events, ideas, sponsorship, and community fundraising activity.

Role type: Mixed role
Commitment: Flexible / Event-based and planning support
Location: Gosport and surrounding areas
Suitable for: Adults who enjoy organising, networking, community engagement, or event support
Facilities Support Open

Building & Property Team Member

Support the upkeep and improvement of the Team6th building and grounds, helping with practical tasks that keep our facilities safe, tidy, and ready for use.

Role type: Behind the scenes
Commitment: Flexible / Occasional practical support
Location: Gosport
Suitable for: Adults with practical skills or a willingness to help with maintenance and upkeep
Facilities Leadership Open

Building & Property Team Lead

Help oversee the care, maintenance, and development of the Team6th building and site, ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for everyone who uses them.

Role type: Behind the scenes
Commitment: Flexible / Approx. 2–6 hours per month
Location: Gosport
Suitable for: Adults with property, maintenance, facilities, or organisational experience
Support Volunteer Open

Section Team Assistants

Help support section evenings, activities, and events by assisting the leadership team with practical tasks and creating a positive experience for young people.

Role type: Youth-facing
Commitment: Flexible / Regular or occasional support
Location: Gosport
Suitable for: Adults looking to support sessions in a practical and flexible way
Youth Programme Open

Section Team Members

Support the delivery of fun, safe, and engaging weekly Scout sessions, helping young people gain skills for life while being part of a welcoming volunteer team.

Role type: Youth-facing
Commitment: Flexible weekly volunteering
