From section leaders and activity helpers to trustees and behind-the-scenes support roles, every volunteer plays an important part in giving young people opportunities, adventure, and skills for life. Youth-facing 4
Section Team Members
Join one of our Section Teams and help deliver our award-winning programme. From being an extra pair of eyes to eventually delivering your own activities, you decide how involved you want to be.
Beaver Team Lead
Take the lead of one of our two well-established Beaver Colonies, supported by an experienced leadership team and with plenty of time to shadow the current Team Lead before taking over.
Section Team Assistants
Help support section evenings, activities, and events by assisting the leadership team with practical tasks and creating a positive experience for young people.
Section Team Members
Support the delivery of fun, safe, and engaging weekly Scout sessions, helping young people gain skills for life while being part of a welcoming volunteer team.

Quartermaster Team Member
Help look after the extensive collection of equipment that keeps Team6th moving. Support our Quartermaster with equipment management, repairs, stock control and issuing and returning equipment.
Behind the scenes 2
Maintenance Team Members
Help us look after the home of Team6th. From grounds maintenance and decorating to repairs, building projects and planning future improvements, there is always something to get involved with.
Digital / IT Team Members
Help Team6th behind the scenes with our websites, digital systems and Microsoft 365. Whether you have experience with WordPress, Elementor, web design, PHP or Office 365 — or simply an interest in learning — we would love to hear from you.
Mixed role 1
Fundraising Team Members
Help raise funds to support the work of Team6th by assisting with events, ideas, sponsorship, and community fundraising activity.
